월간 「사진예술」은 국내외 사진예술의 흐름과 변화에 대한 빠르고 폭넓은 비평 및 기획 글, 리뷰를 게재합니다. 월간 「사진예술」은 사진계의 큰 스승인 이명동 선생이 1989년 창간하였습니다. 1992년에는 제1회 공보처 우수잡지로 선정되었고, 1997년 한국잡지 언론상 편집상을 수상하였습니다. 2016~21년 6년간 연속으로 문광부 ‘우수콘텐츠잡지로 선정되었으며, 2020년 문광부장관 표창장을 포상받았습니다.
